1. Make sure haircuts are completed at least two weeks in advance to avoid the “just chopped” look or even any hair mistakes that may happen.
  2. Drink lots of water! Staying hydrated makes your skin look and feel amazing!
  3. Don’t pick at your skin blemishes (it will make them look worse!) I will edit them out of your favorites!
  4. To avoid looking orange in pictures, avoid spray on tans. If you feel like you need to add a little color, use a very light layer and I recommend Jergens Natural Glow Instant Sun Sunless Tanning Mousse.
  5. Keep your clothing on hangers to avoid any wrinkles or creases!
  6. Create a “Prep Kit” that has deodorant, q-tips to clean up eyeliner smudges, chapstick, lotion, bobby pins and hair ties, hair spray, brush, mirror, and any “go to” items you might need!
  7. Bring nude bras for light tops and black bras for dark tops!
  8. Plan in advance. Put all of your outfits together the night before to make sure you have everything you need and can make last minute changes if needed!
  9. Think about your Glasses- If you wear glasses and you want to wear them for your shoot, consider popping out the lenses in advance to avoid glasses glare in your photos.
  10. Chose outfits that you feel comfortable in. Don’t pick outfits that will be out of style soon, chose outfits that are timeless!
